Someone who has helped me grow in life is my dad. He taught me music (which is kind of like wisdom). He taught me that music is like an open book, its pages call to you. You can choose to start it, or not. And once you start it, you can't put it down. It's always a part of you.
I used to worry sometimes about some things. And when I came to him, this is what he would tell me. "Annabel, don't let your mind control you. You talk to your mind, and you tell it to back off!" It really helped me to feel more at peace with myself to do this because I didn't worry as much.
Anyway, thanks for picking this weeks corner view theme, mom.
P.S. This is my first corner view. I hope you like it.

ReplyDeletelove! and thanks for that bit of wisdom annabel! kisses!
ReplyDeleteI love your Dad's words to you. I play music too; a lesson I learned is that "everyone's part is important" - that made me happier playing 2nd violin (which is the 2nd part) and not feeling like we were less important. It only sounds good when we all play together.
ReplyDeleteWonderful blog post, Annabel. Have a great week.
nice to read your first corner view ;-) you really have an intelligent dad!
