Braces? What Braces?
I'm totally used to my braces now. I can still feel them in my mouth, but it's a normal feeling now. I'm not constantly thinking about them, and how weird they feel.
New Books
I used to only like adventure genre and stuff for books, but recently, I started expanding what I like. I read the Judy Moody and Stink series when I was younger and even though they're really easy now, I continued them. One of my absolute favorite books that I read, was a book called How to Steal a Dog. It's about this girl Georgina who's dad left the family so they have no money, and her mom has to work two jobs. They can't afford an apartment so they live in their car. (Georgina's life sounds pretty bad haw?) Well anyway, she tries to earn money for her family, (her, her mom, and her brother, Toby) by stealing a dog, and she gets herself into more trouble. It's a story about doing the right thing, and it's a great book.

Sora (the Cutest Puppy In the World)
Sora is the cutest puppy in the world. He is mostly white, with some splotches of black. If I pat both of my hands on the floor, he comes running (either over to me or just all over the place.) He's not my dog. He's just temporarily staying at my home school teacher's house (sometimes we go over to her house to work.) Anyway, the dog has little floppy ears and he's about one foot long. He's about a half-a-foot tall. Anyway, he's the cutest little puppy ever!

More of Those Books?
OK, first of all, Rick Riordan, the author of the Percy Jackson series, answered a fan who had commented on the website, asking Rick Riordan to write another Percy Jackson book. (See, "the bookworm side of me", one of my first blog entry's, to learn more about Percy Jackson.) Rick Riordan said that Percy's story is finished, but he might write a story about another half-blood. Then, even though anybody can wright on Wikipedia so it might have been fan made, it said that Rick Riordan, is going to wright another half-blood series, concerning the new great prophecy! (There's a proficy at the end of the book series, that doesn't get fulfilled). So I'm really exited to read the new series if the author writes another one. (If out of a one in a million chance that you're reading this, Rick Riordan, I just want to say that I'm the Percy Jackson #1 fan, and that I'm begging you to write another series about another half-blood!)

My Great But Not Quite Mature Brother
Shawn is my little brother. If you have a little sibling, you can probably imagine how I feel. He says annoying things, he does annoying things. That pretty much sums it up. And he gets in these bad moods for very illogical reasons. But most of the time, Shawny is the best brother in the world. Sometimes he's really fun to play with. Shawn's annoying a lot. But over all, he's a good brother.

Nutella, Donuts and S'mores
NUTELLA is a chocolate and hazelnut spread. The delicious, creamy, chocolaty, sweet, gooey, yummy stuff, is ment to be spread on toast, but I like it plain. I also like DONUTS; particually glazed DONUTS. S'MORES (without the graham cracker) are also really (and when I say really I mean really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, ,really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, ,really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really,) good.

Mom's Back!!!!!!!!
Mom's back! I missed her so much! She told us some stories about her trip on the way home from the airport. I love mom, and I didn't realize how much I had missed her until I hugged her hello!

Teachers House
Skylar and I home school. A teacher comes and tutors us every day. Her name is Mrs. Lisa. Today is Friday. We've been looking forward to this day all week. We went to Ms. Lisa's house today, and we're still there. We did a little work. They (Mrs. Lisa, her husband, and her dad) have a stone oven and we built a fire. Shawn was there too, for a special treat. We put leaves and stuff in the fire. We ate lunch. Then I did an acting presentation. I did a seen from Percy Jackson and the Olympians (my favorite book series) book 5. Sky did a presentation on red eared sliders (a type of turtle she'd been researching.) We ate some treats that they had. (That was nice of them to give us treats). Now I'm doing this blog entry as more work.

Have a Good Trip
Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mom went on a trip all by herself and I miss her! She went to see this saint from India called amma. If you search, amma.org, you can learn more about Amma. We usually all go to see her this time of year as a family, but this year only mom went. She just left for the airport like two hours ago. I'm happy for her though, because I know that she will have a great time!

Living With Braces
Everything I eat gets stuck in my braces except jello and applesauce. Also sometimes they poke and I have to put wax on them. It's also really hard to brush and floss.
One of the good things about having braces is that I get ice cream more than I usually do 'cause it's soft.
Getting Braces On
I have three words . Yuck, sheesh, and oww!
Yuck: They put DISGUSTING tasting liquid in my mouth.
Sheesh: They Put so much different tools, liquid, and special glue in my mouth. And did I mention that some of these things tasted DISGUSTING!
Oww: They put these things in to pull my cheeks away from my teeth and it hurt. They were also glueing metal to my teeth and stuff, and I'm guessing that you can imagine how that felt.

Braces
I'm getting braces tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh the tragedy! Oh the pain! "Sniff sniff" I'm sorry. I get emotional. Well anyway, isn't it horrible? I mean, I can't even have peanut butter sandwiches easily ! (I have to cut them up in tiny pieces and chew and suck them in the back of my mouth.) I'm only getting them on the top four teeth in each row, but it's still bad. I'm doing this because I lost my two front teeth like three years ago and they still haven't spread in. I chose to get braces on right now. I could have waited until I was like twelve and not have them on now, but I chose to get them on now. I'm still also going to get full braces on when I'm twelve, but not for as long as I would have had to.
Anyway, back to complaining. I have to floss a special way that will take forever until I get the hang of it. And I have to use special toothpaste at night and always brush a special way and...... well, you get the picture.

Goodbye Candy
For holloween, we got a lot of candy but we didn't get to eat it all. Our parents said that we could either keep only 7 peices of candy. Or we could get rid of all our candy, get five bucks, and get different, healthier treats. At first, Shawny was going to get rid of his candy, and Skylar and I weren't, But Sky changed her mind and convinced me to too.

Imagination Games
Skylar, Shawn and I play a lot of made-up games. For example: we are orphans outside and we have to collect food and stuff. But in that game, I'm mean to 6-year-old Jeremiah (we call him Jeremy and he's played by Skylar.) Shawny plays the oldest brother, Tim, and I play the middle sister. I'm usually the mean one in games, but not always. We do it this way because if Shawny acted mean, it might encourage him to act that way in real life. Plus, Sky says that it's good for my acting (remember, I want to be an actress).
A lot of times, Sky plays the youngest, like in "The Farm Game." It's this game where we all collect animals. I'm this snobby teen who collects rare animals and spoils them. Shawny trains animals for pet talent shows and earns trophies and stuff. Sky is this 6-year-old who finds stray (and sometimes rare) animals. I want them for my collection, so I sort of try to steal them.
I could go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on about all the different games we play but I'll just tell you about one more. It's my favorite. It's called Percy. If you have not read the blog entry "the book worm side of me," (one of my first blog entrys) then go read it now, or else this will not make sense. Then read the rest of this. I'm Percy, Skylar is one of the characters, Annabeth, and Shawn is one of the characters, Grover.

Yay!
I got my high orange belt and so did Shawn, even though he tested for low! Sky got her high purple!

Untie With the Old and Tie With the New
Sky Just tested for an orange belt and now she's going to test for high purple! Mrs. Donald said that Skylar is the only student that she would let test again so fast. Skylar is the oldest in the class and she learned the stuff that she has to know to become a purple belt really fast. Shawny and I are going to test for orange on the same day. Shawn's going to test for low orange an I'm going to test for high.

The Orange Belt and chocolate
My sister got her high orange belt. Good job Skylar! Shawn and I are still yellow but that's okay. Also, Mr. Donald, our instructor, loves chocolate so I'm going to buy him some (maybe he'll give me my orange belt. Just kidding! But I'm still going to bring him chocolate.)

Cute Little Things that (Face it) sometimes rip your grass out.
My favorite animals are raccoons. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know they're mean and vicious, but they're so cute!!!!!!!! I have a Littlest Pet Shop raccoon figure named Rocky, a Webkins raccoon named Sofie, a Beanie Baby raccoon named Sam, and a puppet raccoon named Friz.
These raccoons are not mean and vicious.

TAE-KWAN-DO HUT!
Do you ever feel like you want to kick and punch and fight ('cause it's fun) but you don't want to hurt people? Well this is your chance!
Taekwando is like karate. I'm a high yellow belt, so are Shawn and Skylar. We've been doing it since the end of last year, but we took a 3 month break vacationing to different places so we missed a lot. A yellow belt is the second belt. Yellow's not very high but we've all gotten much stronger since starting it, and its super fun.
Recently, when we were white belts, we had a Taekwando tournament. It involved forms (groups of kicks, punches, and stances) and sparring (fighting with pads). I won a third place medal in sparring and a fourth place medal in forms. The groups aren't very big so, 4th place was last place and 3rd was second last. But it's OK 'cause it was only my first tournament.
My Yellow Belt (The stripe means high)
Me Sparring in the tournament (I'm on the right side.)
Me sparring again (I'm left this time.)
Us with our medals when we were white belts. Sky and I competed against each other for forms, but otherwise, we were all in different groups.
4th and 3rd place.

The Book Worm Side of Me
Percy Jackson and the Olympians is the best book series ever!
It's about this boy who finds out that Greek mythology is real, and he goes on all these adventures. The books are in first person, totally modern, and absolutely hilarious! There's a movie coming out on Feb. 12 called The Lightning Thief (book #1) and Logan Learman plays Percy!
Here's a picture of a drawing of Percy that I drew.
(I can't show you the top or bottom
because it will give away to much of
the story.)
The Magic Thief and Avalon are two other great book series. The Magic Thief (book #1) came out in 2007, so there's only 2 books in the series. I read book #1 from the library, and ordered book #2 online, so I only own book #2. It's about this boy who thinks he's just a orphan who lives on the street, but finds out he's more than that. But there's something different about this wizard book. Something more alive (that's a hint) about the magic. Here's a picture of book #2.
Avalon is about these three girls who find out that there's magic out there and that they have something to do with it.

Hello!
Hi! I'm Annabel and I want to be an actress and a singer. I'm turning 10 on February 5th (Very soon.) I love performing for my family. I have a 12-year-old sister Skylar and a 5-year-old brother Shawn. My mom's Theresa and my dad's Gary. So, in one of the pictures, I have a "flat self". It was a school project. You know the book flat Stanley? Well, we made flat selves. Another school also made flat selves and they sent them to us. They lived in a different state. We took them around where ever we went and took photos with them.
